There are so many wonderful places to see in the beautiful city of Brunei Darussalam that there is sure to be something for everyone.

Some of other attractions that is close to Tamu Kianggeh are the illuminated Sultan Omar Ali Saiffudien (SOAS) Mosque, a traditional and modern architectural styles of Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Foundation Complex, Tasek Lama Recreational Park, SOAS’s park, Brunei History Centre - research and documentation of Brunei’s history; the Lapau and the Dewan Majlis - the ceremonial hall where royal ceremonies are traditionally held;  and Royal Regalia Building - unique collection of royal Bruneian artefacts. Situated at the east side of Tamu Kianggeh are Kampong Ayer, the capital’s sprawling water village and the Arts and Handicrafts centre is for the preservation of traditional Bruneian knowledge and skills.

People can reach here easily by their own private cars, taxi, buses, and motorboats especially for those who live at Kampung Ayer. You can find bus & taxi terminals which brings people from four different districts to Tamu Kianggeh, travel agencies like Freme Travel Services Sdn Bhd, Century Travel Centre Sdn Bhd, Pan Bright Travel Service, Monaflora Fauna, etc; Chinese Temple, souvenirs shops (FSAA Enterprise, Handy Handicraft, Sunju Enterprise, Bamboo House Gallery of Tribal Art, etc), banks (Islamic Bank of Brunei, Maybank, Baiduri Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and Citibank), general post office, Commercial Centre Buliding which located nearby the tamu and most important place is the Tourist Information Centre.

 

Accommodation that is located not far from Tamu Kianggeh are Terrace Hotel, Sheraton Utama Hotel, Capital Hotel, Jubilee Hotel and K.H.Soon Service Apartment as well as Brunei Hotel which are situated just opposite of the place.
